Edwinea Paulson is a descendant from the Okolah Tribe, and wife of the late Grant Ley Paulson known as ‘Saltwater artist’, which relates to his style of painting mainly saltwater creatures.
Edwina is a talented rising Aboriginal artist with a promising future in Australia’s Art community.
She has lived on the Tweed for the past 25 years. She always enjoyed painting, taught by her late husband and craft making in her spare time, which is very limited, having school age children and maintaining her busy home.
Edwinea is the mother of 10 beautiful children, four girls, 6 boys and three Grandchildren. Edwinea was privileged to gain a position in 2021 being awarded the highly commended award by DeJohn Mundine, a renowned Aboriginal artist.
Edwinea is a cheerful person who loves her country and being an Australian Aboriginal. She embraces her culture and loves sharing it through her art.
Her bobbly character is reflected in her paintings by choosing bright happy colors.
